Project: Brian Fuente Status: Incomplete (In Progress) URL: http://www.brianfuente.com Type: Band/Promotional Description: Brian came to me wanting to totally revamp his existing web site. Being a college friend of mine, I obliged. From our brief discussions about the goals of his site, we concluded a Flash site with a simple layout/navigation would be the best fit for his needs. The main features he was looking for were a media player and a mailing list. Along with these I also implemented a dynamic news feature which allows him to completely run his entire site himself. |

Project: Lemoyne Blvd. Baptist Church Status: Discontinued URL: http://www.lemoynebaptist.com Type: Church/Outreach/Promotional Description:UPDATE: We have decided to go with a CMS-based layout for ease of use. The design described here is no longer on the web. I did this site with the help of one of my long time friends for our church back home which was partially destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The church had a huge amount of support given to them after the disaster and needed a way to document their progress so former volunteers and donors could keep up long after they had left. The site is built entirely on a PHP/MySQL backbone. While the site is functional, there are several bugs I have yet to work out and I would also like to revamp the graphics at a later date. |

Project: Speak Up! Status: Completed Design, Implementing new features URL: http://www.speakupmsu.com Type: Student Government PR Project Description: As Student Association Webmaster, my main duty is to maintain the SA's main web site and any other projects which may fall under the SA's control. The Speak Up! project was initiated by our new Director of Public Relations in order to get students, namely freshmen, more involved in campus organizations. The main purpose of the site was to serve as a hub for organizational information and events. I was approached with this project about a week before school let out and was given approx. a month to deliver a working site. I was given pretty much free reign on all aspects of the design since the PR chair was not educated much on web design. |

Project: MSU Student Association Status: Completed Design, Implementing new features URL: http://www.msustudentassociation.com Type: Student Government web site Description: Again, my main duty as SA webmaster is to maintain the SA's web presence. My plan when I was first appointed to this position was to completely re-build the SA site from the ground up. I wanted to have a good mix of flash and dynamic content, but, most importantly, I wanted the site to be easy to use. Unusability is what killed previous SA sites and I was determined not to make the same mistakes as my predecessors. While not my most aesthetically pleasing site, I feel the layout is very intuitive and information is relatively easy to find. This is currently my most time consuming endeavor. |

Project: Bulldog Bash 2006 Status: Completed URL: http://www.msubulldogbash.com Type: Student Government Event Promotion Description: This design was fo another SA-sponsered program. Bulldog Bash is the largest student-run event in the state of Mississippi. As SA webmaster, I was charged with the task of completing a promotional web site for the event in less than a week. The site is very basic in design and most of the graphic work was done by our wonderful Graphic Designer, Kristen Ley. This was a very "quick and dirty" project and it shows. |

This project is actually a corporate site for three related companies under common ownership. I liked this project from the beginning due to the style they were after. This is the first project where I could actually have fun with a design. Plans are to offer both a static and flash-based site. All graphic design and flash andimation was/will be done by myself and static coding will be performed by my partner. |
